NASCAR Stock Car Time Trial Time Trial Mid-Field Raceway Time: 09:30    Track Surface Water: 0% This is a time trial event for NASCAR stock cars. The "Mid-Field Raceway" is a track that is fairly easy to drive even in a high-powered stock car. However, in order to get good lap times you still need to be careful that the car doesn't oversteer. Careful throttle control is an obvious must, but if you want to augment that further with settings then you can increase the strength of the TCS, or increase the downforce in the rear. Increasing the damping force of the suspension, to soften the movements of the car at the limits of its grip, is another effective tuning technique. If you are really aiming for Gold, don't forget to change the oil before taking the challenge!

Non-Racing Car Super Lap Time Trial Grand Valley East Time: 11:10    Track Surface Water: 0% This is a time trial event for non-racing cars with 500PP or less. "Grand Valley East" is a track that requires lots of power. Tune your engine for higher output and set your car for stability in mid- to high-speed corners, as well as top speed. There are two tricks to driving here: First, don't brake too late into the right-hand hairpin of Turn 2; you'll lose more time the further you go into the corner without braking. Next, to increase exit speed in Turn 7 (the left-hand corner before the tunnel) be sure to turn tightly through Turn 6 and approach Turn 7 from the outside of the corner.

The stage for this race is the 27km "Circuito de la Sierra". At the "Deep Forest Raceway" the ups and downs of the track can upset the balance of your car, so beginners are recommended to use stable 4-wheel drives (4WD). When tuning the car set up for more power, or in the case of a 4WD set the drive-force distribution more towards the rear and use comfort/hard tyres. Lightweight Sports Car Drift Trial Drift Trial Twin Ring Motegi West Course Time: 09:30    Track Surface Water: 0% This is a drift trial event using non-race cars under 1,200kg in weight. In section 1, the 70m marker board on the right side of the track is where you want to start drifting. Maintain the drift while clipping the insides of the right and left corners. If you feel the car is not changing direction quickly enough then use of the side brakes is also effective. Into section 2, maintain your flow from section 1 and keep the throttle open for momentum. It is better to think of the two scoring sections as one larger section, meaning you don't have to interrupt your drift halfway between the two.

1980 or Later Race Car Super Lap Time Trial Circuito de la Sierra Time: 16:30    Track Surface Water: 0% This is a time trial event using race cars built in 1980 or later, with 700PP or less. The stage is set at the "Circuito de la Sierra". Although none of the sections are particularly difficult, it is important to avoid making mistakes because the track's average speed is very high. If you want to just clear the event, GT cars and GT3 touring cars are stable and easy choices. However, if you want to really go for lap times then high powered and lightweight prototype racing cars are recommended. Avoid driving too hard; that's the key to setting good lap times.

Lancer Evolution/Impreza Super Lap Time Trial Tsukuba Circuit Time: 15:30    Track Surface Water: 0% This is a time trial event for the non-racing versions of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution and Subaru Impreza, with 500PP or less. At the Tsukuba circuit, power difference alone will not affect lap times much so in addition to tuning for power, make sure to reduce the weight of your car. Both cars are 4-wheel drive so you need to minimise under-steer and increase turning ability as much as you can. Weakening the front LSD and applying more drive distribution to the rear will reduce under-steer. These two cars are lifelong rivals; it’s up to you which one comes out on top!

GT300 Racing Car Drift Trial Drift Trial London Time: 09:30    Track Surface Water: 0% This is a drift trial event using GT300 class cars participating in the Japanese GT Championships. The GT300 class cars aren't set up for drifting, so you’ll need to tune the engine and add a turbo kit first in order to raise the engine output. Increasing the initial torque of the LSD will make the car better for drifting. It is also effective to lower the downforce of the car so that it becomes easier to swing around. The course is narrow and easy to crash on; make sure you don’t stray away from the driving line even while you are drifting.

Out of the four scoring sections, Section 3 on the ascent will be the most challenging. The trick here is to maintain an open throttle through the entire section, getting the car to drift while increasing speed. Opening the throttle suddenly will actually take away from your acceleration; you need to control it so that the speed increases gradually. Gaining points in this third section will be the key to achieving Gold.

Italian Non-Racing Car Super Lap Time Trial Ascari Full Track Time: 17:00    Track Surface Water: 0% This is a time trial event using Italian non-racing cars with 600PP or less. As the selection will consist mainly of supercars, you’ll be selecting from many 4WD or MR (mid-engine, rear-wheel drive) cars. 4WDs are heavy so you need to reduce the weight, whereas you may need to re-balance the weight distribution by adding ballast in MR cars. However, be careful not to add too much weight as the Ascari Full Track has many corners and a lighter car will definitely have the advantage. Find out which model is the fastest car in Italy!
