If you want to go for higher scores, rear-wheel drives are the recommendation, while if you want to play it safe, 4-wheel drives are the way to go. Italian cars are often high powered models, so in terms of tuning, just modifying the drivetrain and suspension can turn them into drift specific machines. To aim for high scores at the Red Bull Ring Short Track, how long you can maintain your drift in the long 3rd section will be the most important factor. If your drift seems like it is about to stop, using nitrous to force the car into a power drift is another effective way to go about it.

4-Wheel Drive Non-Racing Car Super Lap Time Trial Suzuka Circuit 2014 Time: 15:00    Track Surface Water: 0% This is a Time Trial event using 4-wheel drive non-racing cars with 600PP or less. The Suzuka Circuit requires good overall balance. When adjusting PP, if the car already has a good deal of power you'll want to focus more on making the car lighter. To mark good lap times, you'll need to set the car to reduce understeer that is common in four-wheel drives, and improve its turning ability. Reducing the drive force to the front by adjusting the torque distributing centre differential, or increasing the front downforce if the adjustment is available are some simple but effective means to do so. The rest is up to the driver's skill. Maximise the performance of the tyres and push the car to its very limit!

2-Wheel Drive Non-Racing Car Super Lap Time Trial Red Bull Ring Time: 13:00    Track Surface Water: 0% This is a Time Trial event using 2-wheel drive non-racing cars with 550PP or less. The Red Bull Ring is a stop and go type of circuit that requires you to go from full brakes to full acceleration. Stability during braking and traction is very important, so you'll want to set the LSD stronger, and maybe add a rear wing. If you harden the suspension, be careful of riding up on the inside cornerstones as it can upset the balance of your car while cornering. To improve lap times, set your car and drive carefully to avoid oversteer.

Expert Level Racing Car Challenge Single Race Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca / 5 Laps Time: 13:30    Track Surface Water: 0% This is an Expert level race event using racing cars with 600PP or less. The Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca is a difficult track to overtake on, with mainly mid- to low-speed corners. The biggest chance you have is the long home straight. Make a clean exit out of the final corner and use slipstreams to your advantage to pass your opponents. If you're going to attempt passing during the braking at the end of the straight, be very careful as it will be easy to upset the balance of the car.

The scoring section is just one area, from the Coca Cola corner to the 100R on the Fuji Speedway. Because of the high average speed, you'll need high speed stability and controllability. We recommend setting a large negative camber for this. The best configuration will be a full alignment job adjusting the front and rear toe angles to match. The score you get in the left hand Coca Cola corner will be essential for a high score. You'll want to go along the driving line in a high speed drift, while dropping as little speed as possible. It'll be effective to use the side brakes to initiate the drift for this.

Jaguar XJ13 '66 Overtake Challenge Overtake Challenge Grand Valley Speedway Time: 11:10*    Track Surface Water: 0% This is a sector Time Trial where you will be tested on how fast you can reach the goal while overtaking opponents. Driving off the track, crashing, or making contact with other objects will disqualify you from the event. The car used in the event is the Jaguar XJ13 '66, a "missing link" that was developed as Jaguar's first mid-engine racing sportscar, but never made it to the race it was intended for due to a variety of misfortunes. The trick to this challenge is to stick to the driving line and avoid decelerating as much as possible. Especially at the high speed corners of Turns 3 to 5, your exit speed will greatly affect your lap time. To aim for the Gold prize, you'll want to pass three cars by the exit of the right hairpin at Turn 6.

This is an Expert level race event on the Nurburgring GP/ F, where both driving skill and precise racing strategy will be required. The event is open to racing cars with 600PP or less. Because the fuel consumption and tyre wear will be quicker than normal, tyre management will be very important. The surface wetness level that requires a change from dry to wet tyres is 30%. Driving on dry tyres over this will be dangerous. Also, the trick to making both dry and wet tyres last, is in avoiding sudden steering operations to prevent overloading the tyres. You want to make sure to drive meticulously through this one.

The cornering performance of this car is quite high due to the powerful downforce produced, and the trick to attaining fast laps is in how effectively you utilise this performance. The course is narrow with a lot of corners, so where you attempt to overtake will also be important. For the most part you'll want to drive meticulously and avoid taking chances, but there will still be moments that require you to be bold and really go for the inside of a corner.
