4WD Non-Racing Car and Tuned Car Super Lap Time Trial Deep Forest Raceway Time: 11:00    Track Surface Water: 0% This is a Time Trial event for 4WD non-racing cars and tuned cars with 600PP or less. The difficulty of this challenge increases depending on the car used. We recommend a newer model car if you are aiming to win the gold prize. If you have difficulty with understeer, something that is common in four wheel drives, moving the drive distribution towards the rear by using a centre differential is effective. In terms of driving, high average speeds will cause the car to jump in unexpected places, like the spot just before Turn 1, so be ready for that! Make full use of the high traction provided by 4WD, changing directions quickly in corners and accelerating out of them rapidly.

The Matterhorn Dristelen is a track with long flat out sections, which means your car will need to be high-powered. In terms of settings, you'll want a stronger stabiliser in the front and rear because the drifts will occur at high speed. Front engine rear-wheel drives (FR) are recommended for their ease of control while drifting. There are many banked corners so a relatively large negative camber is recommended for both the front and rear; reducing the rear ride height will also improve controllability. The important place for gaining high scores is in section 2. The exit is on an incline where you can lose speed quickly, so using your side brake to maintain drift will give you a better chance for a higher score.

To aim for a Gold result, selecting a newer model car is recommended. Although settings with less down-force will generally give you better lap times because of the track's characteristics, it will also make driving difficult. Reducing down-force will especially raise the difficulty of the sections following the Dunlop corner. If you don't want to sacrifice cornering stability too much, refrain from reducing the car's down-force too much.

On the Nürburgring 24h layout, your own mistakes are your worst enemy! It is recommended to set up the car for ease of driving and improved stability. Rather than powering up the car to the very limit allowed by the PP, setting a lower but more manageable power output is also a viable option. Strong downforce will also be an advantage, but you need to make sure the front and rear are balanced well. This will affect the steering characteristics at mid- to high-speeds, so you'll want to adjust the car set-up based on how it feels in the turns.
