I'm very fortunate that these spy shots hit my in box anonymously.  Looking at the rear of the Audi we see the exhausts (1) poking out either side of the car centerline.  Interestingly, the entire trailing edge, with the TE gurney following suit, tucks down (2) as it moves outboard.  And while it could very well be nothing, there appears to be some segregation of the air flow exiting the engine (3--note it's on both sides of the car).  Note also the thickened trailing edge (4) of the underfloor, presumably a gurney, or a trailing edge extension, resides there; a carry over from previous Audi LMPs (going back to the R15).  Finally we have the anonymous exit duct (5) as was seen on the 2013 R18.  We also have bulges in the engine cover (6, though note the bulge is on both sides) that don't appear in the studio shots.  Not to jump the gun or anything, but the last time I asked about engine cover bulges the conversation turned to air-hybrid systems (3.16.13 entry)...But an over night course correction tells me that Audi were running the 2013 exhaust on the narrower 2014 car when the car tested at Sebring (and that's the reason for the bulge in the engine cover) but that the 2014 exhaust gas recovery system will be (is) on the car and the bulges will go away.

v8 turbo nema smisla za lmp1, ako bude biti će v6 turbo iz f1

ovo testiraju v8 turbo jer će im trebati za cestovne aute

Upravo to, zato su se poceli pojavljivati komentari na ovo da li je to uopce bio V8, neki spominju cetverocilindrasa na Porscheovu foru

fascinantni su mi ti lmp bolidi uvijek bili.
a ove nove hibridne tehnologije i kako iskorištavaju sve više procesa u radu motora i ostatka auta dok ubrzava ili usporava za skupljanje energije za električne motore. vau  :o

kad bi dio toga prenjeli su svakodnevne hibride i kad bi oni bili interesnatni za vozit to bi bilo to (govorim o ovim svakodnevnim modelima, ne egozitčnim čudima poput mclarena, ferrari, porsche).
u evo su recenzirali novog is lexusa koji je hibrid i kažu dobar je ali cvt getriba ubija i elektro i dizel/benzinski motor.

Šta su se troškovi sudjelovanja toliko smanjili kada ovoliki broj novih proizvođača ulazi u natjecanje?

Ne mislim da jesu, tj. ulaze vecinom tvornicki timovi, a ne privatnici, tako da se troskovi nisu drasticno smanjli. Ispravite me ako sam u krivu

možda sam u krivu ali mislim da većinu šasija radi dallara i možda još jedan proizvođač
pa kupiš njihov monokok što je sigurno puno jeftinije nego razvijati svoj, dodaš motor ako imaš nešto na lageru iskoristiš taj i nazoveš ga prigodnim imenom u nadi da će dignuti prodaju cestovnih auta
malo se poigraš oko ovjesa tj set-up mislim da nema tu nekih razlika u konstrukciji bar kod lmp2 bolida i eto ;D
