Porsche registers 919 name

Porsche has registered "919" at a German trademark office which could hint to a brand new model.

This combination of numbers is marked as "word mark", meaning that Porsche will be able to use the figures for a new model. This move from Porsche could also mean they want to protect some names so other companies will not be able to use them.

This comes at a time when Porsche's CEO Matthias Muller has confirmed the brand will add four new models by 2018. A decision regarding a new sports car between the 911 and 918 Spyder will be made sometime next year. An entry-level sedan with the Pajun moniker is a "possibility", while Panamera derivatives are already on the pipeline.

At the end of 2014 Porsche will launch the Macan, a smaller variant of the Cayenne.

1.6 TDI, oni imaju 5 brzina u golfu. Uredno posloženi stupnjevi tako da i nema potrebe za više, vuče bolje nego prošli golf sa istim motorom, sam mjenjač je još direktniji i kraćih hodova nego prije. Općenito, auto ostavlja jako dobar dojam, udoban, tih, čvrst... potrošnja po gradu se vidi. Sve u svemu, vrlo radi bih ga njegove papire na svom imenu

A full-size Porsche 917 replica with a built-in 1:32-scale working wooden slot car track is available for a "mere" 125,000 USD.

We usually don't cover such stories here on WCF but this has managed to impress us a lot. Although you can't really tell from these two photos, this is actually a 1:1 replica of the Porsche 917 concealing a 1:32 Le Mans raceway replica. The car has the same color paint and #20 race number as a throwback to the 1971 movie starring Steve McQueen.

It comes with authentic race-worn GT prototype tires mounted on three-piece aluminum wheels. Headlights and taillights are functional, while at the touch of a button the car opens like a clamshell to reveal the race circuit that has been faithfully reproduced. The expensive "toy" comes bundled with 12 limited-edition slot cars painted in realistic period livery.

It weighs 800 lbs (363 kg) and measures 13 1/2' L x 7 1/2' W x 3' H.

2016 Audi R20 to be a street-legal LeMans car

Quattro GmbH Managing Director Franciscus Van Meel has already said Audi's upcoming diesel-electric supercar would topple the McLaren P1, but new details are starting to emerge about the mysterious model.

Automobile Magazine is reporting the car - which could be called the R20 - will be a street-legal LeMans car with a small single-frame grille, vertical LED headlights and an adjustable rear wing which could function as an air brake. It could also have gullwing doors, active aerodynamics and a full-length tailfin that mimics the one used on the R18 race car.

Inside, we can expect a "black panel center display" and active sport seats with four-point harnesses.

Power could be provided by a twin-turbo V6 TDI engine and two electric motors that drive the front wheels. This setup could give the model a combined output of roughly 700 HP (515 kW). We can also expect torque vectoring technology, e-quattro all-wheel drive and a limited electric-only range.

The car could be unveiled at the 2015 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance and go into production in 2016. Production is expected to be limited to just 100 to 250 units.

Nevjerojatno di se sad traži napredak. Neko novo doba počinje...

počeli doslovce prenosit sa staze na cestu.
i to još tdi motor augh. 
to će doslovce ić ko raketa  trošit ko upaljač pogotov s električnim motorom.

a ne ko ferar neki tamo dugmići po volanu i f1 kakti mjenjač.
pa sad skoro svaki auto može imat one pedalice iza...

Sve to stoji,ali Audi mi je kao skuplji golf(marketing je napravio svoje zadnjih 15ak god pa ispada da  imaju "pošteni karizmatični image") ne bi nikad dao novce koja je u rangu razne egzotike.....

No barem če konkurenciju zadržati budnom....mislim da če bit još sličnih koncepata u sljedečih par god.

Ja imam jednog 84 godina, 4 litra troši, neki dan uložio u njega skoro 6000kn sa registracijom.
Promjeno sve na njemu, gume, amortizere, ležajeve, kočnice, špura, madžetna na polosovini, zglob na desnom točku, ulje, antifriz, filtere... Svaku sitnicu kad odbijem amortizere i reg za samo 2000kn.

Nema do golfa 2. I ne mislim ga nikad prodavati.
