    Expert Level Racing Car Challenge
Single Race

Tokyo R246 / Reverse / 5 Laps
Time: 09:00    Track Surface Water: 0%

This is an expert level race event using race cars with 700PP or less.
Even in its reverse layout, the straight on Tokyo Route 246 is the best place for passing rivals. Although you need high top speed, you’ll also need to make sure you have adequate traction accelerating out of low-speed corners. In addition, some cars will be harder to control as they near 700PP. A stable 4WD would be a good choice.

Event Availability Period: 21.05.2015. – 04.06.2015.

    Intermediate Level Non-Racing Car Challenge
Single Race

Silverstone International Circuit / 5 Laps
Time: 13:00    Track Surface Water: 0%

This is an intermediate level race event for non-racing cars with 500PP or less.
Although it’s possible to overtake during braking into turns 3 and 7 on the "Silverstone International Circuit", the best spot to overtake is still at the "Hangar Straight". Tune your car for power to pass your opponents with ease. Mid- to high-speed corner stability is also important, so don’t forget to tune the suspension!

Event Availability Period: 21.05.2015. – 04.06.2015.

    Racing Car Drift Trial
Drift Trial

Apricot Hill Raceway
Time: 10:00    Track Surface Water: 0%

This is a drift trial event for race cars.
The trick to setting up race cars for drifting is in the down-force. If you want bigger drift angles then set it stronger. If you want more speed, adjust it to be weaker. In terms of driving, the recommended style for this trial is to control your car using throttle and steering only; avoid relying on the brakes. Section 3 will have a major effect on your score. Commence your drifting while maintaining high-speed through this section.

    Non-Racing Car Drift Trial
Drift Trial

Willow Springs International Raceway: Big Willow
Time: 07:00    Track Surface Water: 0%

This is a drift trial event for non-race cars.
The scoring section of this track both rises and falls, while the corners are banked. Lowering the rear ride height and setting a stronger negative camber will help increase stability to counter this. The secret to high scores is to drive so that your drift is uninterrupted from Section 2 onwards, handling these as if they were a single scoring section. The key is in Section 2, which makes the approach to Section 3 difficult if you speed through it.

Front-Wheel Drive Non-Racing Car Super Lap
Time Trial

Ascari Full Track
Time: 16:00    Track Surface Water: 0%

This is a time trial event for front-wheel drive cars with 450PP or less.
On the technical Ascari Full Track, total balance is the key. If you are equipped with sports tyres you will definitely need the suspension tuned. Harden your suspension to cope with the increase in tyre grip. Balance is important to consider, so keep in mind that the optimum hardness is where using the throttle does not result in strong under-steer.

Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe Super Lap
Time Trial

Willow Springs International Raceway: Big Willow
Time: 08:30    Track Surface Water: 0%

This is a time trial event using the Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe with 55OPP or less.
This car's engine is tuned to deliver most of its power at high RPM, so as a consequence it produces low torque in the low RPM range. You will need to make sure you do not drop your engine speed too much while driving in order to drive fast. Depending on your driving style you may not need to change the transmission, but installing a fully customisable transmission and shortening your gears can help. You can increase down-force of the car for mid to high-speed corners in order to improve your lap times, but overdoing it will kill your speed in long straights and start to lower your overall time. Adjustments need to be made with some balance in mind.

Expert Level Front Engine, Rear-Wheel Drive Challenge
Single Race

Willow Springs International Raceway: Big Willow / 5 Laps
Time: 07:00    Track Surface Water: 0%

This is an expert level race event using front engine, rear-wheel drive non-racing cars with 500PP or less.
Due to the long flat out sections, tuning for power is recommended. Adding a wing may also help if you are experiencing oversteer on the rough road surface. At "Willow Springs" there are many sections with only one racing line, making it extremely difficult to overtake safely. Aside from the entry into Turn 1 off the home straight, it will be important to avoid taking risks overall.

    Intermediate Level 4WD Challenge
Single Race

Apricot Hill Raceway / 5 Laps
Time: 10:00    Track Surface Water: 0%

This is an intermediate level race event using 4WD non-racing cars with 500PP or less.
In 4WD cars, settings can be more important than just simply adding new parts. For example, if you feel strong understeer then setting the distribution of drive force towards the rear can alleviate the issue. The best way to set up your car is to use your PP for more power, to match the two long flat out sections. However, if you have selected a heavy car then reducing weight may produce better results.

Event Availability Period: 04.06.2015. – 18.06.2015.

    Beginners' Level Front-Wheel Drive Challenge
Single Race

Circuito di Roma / 3 Laps
Time: 16:30    Track Surface Water: 0%

This is a beginners' level race event using front-wheel drive, non-racing cars with 450PP or less.
On Circuito di Roma, both stability in high-speed corners and engine power will be critical; tune the engine and suspension well before making the challenge. You can overtake in the corners, but the best spot is still the long home straight. Accelerate quickly out of the final corner to get into your opponent’s slipstream!

    Racing Car Drift Trial
Drift Trial

Special Stage Route 5 Clubman
Time: 21:40    Track Surface Water: 0%

Out of the wide range of racing cars available, front engine and mid-engine rear-wheel drives are recommended for this event. When setting the car to drift you'll want to raise the power on a front engine car, while for a mid-engine car you'll want to set a high initial torque for the LSD. This track requires you to drift at high speed and it will be easier to swing the car around if you lower the front and rear downforce setting. Maintain your drift as much as you can in the long first section. You will get a higher score if you aim to drive closer to the inside of the standard driving line.

1979 or Prior / Non-Racing Car Drift Trial
Drift Trial

Circuit de la Sarthe 2005
Time: 12:50    Track Surface Water: 0%

This is a drift trial event using non-racing cars built on or before 1979.
Although there were many unique cars made prior to 1979, the narrow track here means choosing a smaller car will make things easier. In terms of tuning, a large inward rear toe setting will help to increase stability. There are only two scoring sections here and any mistakes will reflect heavily on your score. The sharp repeating corners of Section 2 will be especially crucial for scoring high. Be careful not to overspeed, and trace the driving line carefully. Also, it will be easier to aim for a higher score if you make your approach from the right side of the entry into Section 2.

1980 or Later / 2-Wheel Drive Racing Car Super Lap
Time Trial

Apricot Hill Raceway
Time: 18:45    Track Surface Water: 0%

This is a time trial event for two-wheel drive racing cars built on or after 1980.
If you are going for Gold, selecting a prototype racing car with a high starting PP is recommended. However, the older the prototype is, the more sensitive the power output and throttle operations will be. If you want ease of driving as well then it's better to select a newer model. The stage is set on the "Apricot Hill Raceway" at dusk. If you have trouble with visibility, turning the driving line ON will make things easier.

1979 or Prior / Non-Racing Car Super Lap
Time Trial

Circuito de Madrid
Time: 10:40    Track Surface Water: 0%

This is a time trial event for non-racing cars built on or before 1979.
Many cars from this era have very soft suspension, making this a top priority when tuning. If your car rolls too much and goes wide while cornering, you definitely need to tune the suspension. It is effective to add an LSD and set close gear ratios to improve acceleration, but remember that on cars with a lot of torque, such as American muscle cars, this can cause the car to oversteer. If the rear end becomes unstable when you apply the throttle, setting the gear ratios further apart should make it easier to drive.
